The CNVMP and monitoring program has been endorsed by the Acoustic Advisor and approved by the Department of Planning and Environment.

Minor Ancillary Facility – Union Street Pyrmont
This minor ancillary facility is located adjacent to the Sydney Metro Pyrmont East construction site, at Union Street, Pyrmont. The facility is required for change rooms, toilets, first aid room and storage containers. The facility would allow for increased productivity and safety for the Pyrmont East construction site due to the limited space available on site for upcoming construction activities. The facility is approx. 360m2 and includes the footpath, verge and parking lane along the Union Street frontage. The facility will be required until July 2024.

Community Agreement Hunter Street Site Establishment
The purpose of this proposal is to provide the EPA with the required information for the Eastern Tunnelling Package project to seek a community agreement approval under Condition E1 Community Agreements of the Environment Protection Licence (EPL) No.21784. This community agreement would allow for works to be undertaken outside of standard construction hours and weeknights permitted under L5.1 and L5.9, respectively.

The scope of this Heavy Vehicle Local Road (HVLR) report is in relation to the heavy vehicle routes which are in addition to the approved haulage routes in the EIS. There are two additional routes required for the assembly of the Hunter Street East and West tower cranes. The routes are required to provide an inbound route using Gresham Street, and an outbound route using Pitt Street, not currently provided by the approved routes.

The scope of this Heavy Vehicle Local Road (HVLR) report is in relation to the heavy vehicle routes which are in addition to the approved haulage routes in the EIS. There are two additional routes required to service the Hunter West construction site. The first route is required to provide an inbound route from the north. The second route is required to service the inbound and outbound access to De Mestre Place, located in the western boundary of the Hunter Street West site. De Mestre Place is currently the only established access to construction site and is therefore essential to the initial establishment phase of the project.
